BIO
Two Star Maniacs' debut EP, Low Noise Controversy, is an Instrumental mix of genres made by Victoria natives Silas James and Tim Banks. It was recorded at Victoria based Solo Studios. The EP pairs the duo with singer/songwriter/producer Dan Politano.
"It was great having his experience in the room," explains Silas, beaming about producer Dan Politano. Dan started Solo Records with Jace Pearson in 2005 and had some success with his first release (and the labels), Staring With My Eyes Closed and even licenced his second single Smile to the Global series Falcon Beach.
Two Star Maniacs sent Jace their demo and he decided to sign them after their first meeting. "We don't want to be a label that releases the same genre," says Jace. "This EP has a little bit of everything, even an R&B track with Dan playing lead guitar over top of it."
With five new, dance powered tracks ready to crack college radio, Two Star Maniacs are more than eager to get their name out there.
A pleasant bonus on the EP is a bonus track by another Solo Recording artist, Oakley off his upcoming CD Defending My Honour.
Low Noise Controversy will be the second release on Solo Records and will only be released digitally.
